Megan Bailey is Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Integrated Ocean and Coastal Governance in the Marine Affairs Program at Dalhousie University. Her work focuses on equity in fisheries governance, with specific attention given to allocation, access, fishing rights, and benefits distribution. Her work takes place across Inuit Nunangat and eastern Canada, as well as throughout the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Dr. Bailey holds master’s and doctoral degrees in Resource Management from the University of British Columbia. She is a co-editor of two books, Food Secure Futures: Multidisciplinary Solutions (with Jessica Duncan, Routledge) and Sea Change: Charting a Sustainable Future for Oceans in Canada (with Rashid Sumaila, Derek Armitage, and William Cheung, UBC Press).
