Christine Årdal

Christine Årdal is a Senior Researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health where she was the Co-lead of the EU Joint Action on Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections (work package on research and innovation) and the EU-financed Innovative Medicines Initiative project (driving reinvestment in research and development for antibiotics and advocating their responsible use (DRIVE-AB)). Dr. Årdal’s research focus is on the policy aspects of securing access to and stimulating the innovation of medicines, primarily antibiotics.
