Nazeem Muhajarine is a Professor in Community Health and Epidemiology at the University of Saskatchewan, and Director of the Saskatchewan Population Health and Evaluation Research Unit (SPHERU). Dr. Mujajarine is a social epidemiologist specializing in research on population level interventions, child and maternal health, and place and health. He is the former co-director (academic) and founding member of the Community-University Institute for Social Research at the University of Saskatchewan.
Dr. Mujajarine brings together expertise in epidemiologic and quantitative methods, evaluation and intervention research, and social science theories, and a deep understanding of and commitment to conducting research that makes a difference for local communities, Canadians, and populations elsewhere.
